The Joyce A. Chaffer scholarship awards are provided from interest earned from the Chaffer trust fund. These scholarships are  competitive and are awarded to music majors attending Idaho universities whose main instrument is piano, harpsichord, or organ. Additional funds are available for Idaho students attending out-of-state universities.
